Sandton Library
Sandton library, situated on Nelson Mandela Square is open to all members of the community. The library has a collection of over 92,000 volumes, as well as audio books, videos, music CDs and language tapes, the local daily and weekly newspapers, periodicals and the Provincial and Government Gazettes. Membership to the library is necessary to borrow material, and membership is R30 for the year and R73 per year to borrow audio-visual material.

Sandton Civic Gallery Gallery on the Square - A commercial gallery focusing on prints, painting, sculpture and ceramics. International names include Picasso, Joan Miro, David Hockney and Jim Dine, while local artists include Regi Bardavid, Colbert Mashile, the Ardmore Ceramic Studio and others.

Totem Gallery - African tribal art is not just about aesthetics, it is initially about meaning and function. African objects were almost never created as ‘art for art’s sake’, rather these objects always related to magical or social rites – to the supernatural world – and were rarely produced by a single individual. Before the making of many artefacts, there was a long, controlled process including the collaboration between the ‘commissioner’, the village diviner and the sculptor.

Golf - Golfers are spoilt for choice with a range of excellent golf courses located in surrounding areas including The Bryanston Country Club Golf Course, The Country Club Johannesburg, Riverclub Golf Course and Houghton Golf Club.

Sandton Central Park - This is located on the corner of Grayston and Sandton Drive is an undulating park that backs two major residential developments.

Mushroom Farm Park - Come to a beautiful and secure public park, where over 80 species of bird flock around the Mushroom Farm dam.

Wanderers Stadium - Wanderers Stadium is a stadium situated just south of Sandton in Illovo. Test, One Day and First class cricket matches are played here. It is also the home ground for the Highveld Lions and has a seating capacity of 34,000. It is nicknamed 'The Bullring' due to its design and intimidating atmosphere.

Johannesburg Zoological Gardens - Bringing a world of wildlife to your doorstep. Accessible and affordable, the Zoo is the City of Johannesburg’s world of wildlife on your doorstep. The Johannesburg Zoo is located at the corner of Jan Smuts Avenue and Upper Park Drive in Parkview, Johannesburg. The main public entrance is on Upper Park Drive.
